“Hook up with a Kiawah Local!
Captain Rob runs and maintains a 24 ft Pathfinder Tournament with a 250 hp Yamaha motor. The boat is capable of speeds over 50 mph and seats up to six people very comfortably. She has a soft dry ride and she has 3 livewells to maintain an ample supply of bait for the day. All modern electronics including VHF and cellular telephone are standard to help find exactly where the fish are. T-Top provides ample shade for those hot days on the water.
Rob Bennett is a local of the Kiawah-Seabrook area. He has been a licensed Coast Guard Captain since graduating from the University of South Carolina in 1981. As a native of the local waters, he knows the proper techniques on where to find the fish at certain times and certain tides.
He won the 1998 Trident Fishing Tournament for Out Standing Inshore Boat of the Year, which is quite an achievement to land once in a life time. He is a regular on the television series “SC Outdoors” on the SC Educational Channel and an outdoor writer for the local Kiawah-Seabrook newspaper. He is a member of the Coastal Conservation Association, Southern Kingfish Association and also a member of the St. Johns Rotary Club.
